Roger Burman owns LAKESIDE RODS AND RIDES in Rockwell City, Iowa . Roger has built some of the finest rods and customs from this small shop in rural Iowa since 1989. He is a master car builder of award winning street rods and custom motorcycles. The incredible work his shop produces has resulted in numerous awards and national attention.
The hot rods Roger Burman builds out of his shop, are well known, not only to rodders in the Midwest, but to those who, both nationally and internationally, pay attention to award-winning, high caliber rods and custom pro-built cars. His cars and motorcycles have won so many awards that Burman stopped counting years ago. As a professional builder, Roger takes on high-end projects for enthusiasts who appreciate and are willing to pay to have a pro turn their dreams into reality. It typically takes about six months to build a car, he said, but a really radical design can take up to 18 months.
Roger Burman and the guys at Lakesied Rods and Rides are accustomed to the winner’s circle at GOODGUYS EVENTS . As a shop they’ve brought home the Goodguys “America’s Most Beautiful Street Rod” title as well as the "STREET ROD D’ELEGANCE" award for two consecutive year’s as well as the Goodguys "Custom Rod of the Year".
